Nursing 2000 Website Goes Under the Knife
Across the past three years, Nursing 2000 has significantly expanded and now supplies nursing staff across all clinical settings including NHS hospitals, GP surgeries and community health centres. To reflect such expansion, Nursing 2000 was looking for a fresh new look and feel to their site and, having worked with MCM Net for a number of years, chose us to upgrade the site.
The new site design was aimed to strengthen the brand identity by utilising the Nursing 2000 core colour palette. Clearer call-to-actions were placed in key locations to encourage users to act upon their visit. These included encouraging candidates to register for job alerts, find jobs through the online search and application route and to crucially push clients through to contact the nursing agency.
Candidates searching for nursing jobs can refine their search by a range of criteria, including areas/bands of specialism, location, dates posted and associated keywords. When candidates find jobs of interest, an online application process and CV upload facility allows them to quickly and conveniently get in touch.
Usability was a key area of focus when undertaking the project and for that reason the homepage 'Jobs' container was tabulated to provide a neat and consistent user experience. In addition to this, social outlets were added to encourage users to engage with the brand across newly established social networking pages.
